Kip Sperry and Susan Easton Black will present a Family History Seminar, November 3rd and 4th, 2006 at the Homestead Resort, 7oo North Homestead Drive, Midway, Utah. A variety of topics will be offered. The seminar begins at 1:00 p/m/ Friday. Friday entertainment is at 7:00 p.m. Saturday hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Lake County Genealogical Society, of Grayslake, Illinois, is sponsoring its 14th Annual Workshop, November 4, 2006. The one-day workshop entitled, “Records from Far and Near,” extends a welcome to all genealogists interested in learning and improving their research skills. Featured speakers include Claire Mire Bettag, CG, Dan Niemiec, and Jeanne Larzalere Bloom, CG.
Region IV of the Ontario Canada Genealogical Society presents a seminar featuring Elizabeth Kelly Kerstens, CG, CGL. Kerstens is, probably, best known as the creator of the software program, Clooz– the electronic filing cabinet for genealogical records, and co-creator of the software program Gene Weaver for your family health history. She is managing editor of both Genealogical Computing and the NGS Newsmagazine.
