Lake County Genealogical Society Annual Workshop
The Lake County Genealogical Society, of Grayslake, Illinois, is sponsoring its 14th Annual Workshop, November 4, 2006. The one-day workshop entitled, “Records from Far and Near,” extends a welcome to all genealogists interested in learning and improving their research skills. Featured speakers include Claire Mire Bettag, CG, Dan Niemiec, and Jeanne Larzalere Bloom, CG.
Doors are open for registration and browsing at 8:00 a.m.; a continental breakfast will be served, at no additional charge. The conference program topics are:

The conference will be held at the College of Lake County, 19351 W. Washington Street, Grayslake, Illinois 60030, Building C, Lower Level.
Registration must be postmarked by October 11, 2006. Fees: LCIGS Members, CLC Students & Staff $30.00. Non-member $35.00 Dues: $20.00/single; $22/family.
