Ohio Genealogical Society's Second Annual Fall Conference
Featured speaker: John Phillip Colletta, who is one of America's most popular genealogical lecturers. Entertaining, knowledgeable and experienced, he is based in Washington, DC, where he conducts workshops for the National Archives and teaches courses for the Smithsonian Institution and local universities. He also lectures nationally and is a faculty member of the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research at Samford University (Birmingham, AL) and the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy (Salt Lake City).
Coletta has been an instructor and course coordinator for the National Institute on Genealogical Research (Washington, DC), the Genealogical Institute of Texas (Dallas), and the Genealogical Institute of Mid-America (Springfield, IL).A post-seminar reception, honoring John Colletta and celebrating Family History, Month will be held at the Ohio Genealogical Society Library, 713 S. Main St., Mansfield. The library will remain open until 8:00pm for extended research hours following the reception.The OGS Conference will be held at the James W. Kehoe Center for Advanced Learning; North Central State College (Shelby Campus), 175 Mansfield Avenue, Shelby, Ohio.
