Third Annual St. George Genealogy and Family Heritage Jamboree
The Third Annual St. George Genealogy and Family Heritage Jamboree, sponsored by My Ancestors Found and volunteers from the Washington County PAF User’s Group, will be held February 9-10, 2007. The Jamboree will be held at the Dixie Convention Center, in St. George, Utah.
This two-day event is drawing speakers and vendors from all over the U.S. It will feature 100+ terrific classes to choose from—beginner, intermediate, and advanced level. An exhibit hall will feature more than 60 vendors and exhibitors, and the latest genealogy products and technology. Free drawings and prizes will be offered each day!
In the opening session, Keynote speaker, Barbara Renick, will present “Discover the Magic of Family History.” Renick is a frequent lecturer at national genealogical conferences; serves on staff and teaches at the Regional Family History Center in Orange, California; and is the author of several books and instructional videos. Her most recent book titled Genealogy 101: How to Trace Your Family’s History and Heritage was sponsored by the National Genealogical Society for their 100th Anniversary.
The exhibit hall and opening session are FREE to the public.It is a great place for beginners to get started, and for the intermediate and advanced, to improve their genealogical skill and knowledge.
The $38.00 Early Bird registration fee, for both days, ends November 30th. After that, the regular fee is $50.00, or $60.00 at the door ($30.00 per day).
